The Simpsons: Bart Vs. The World (NES version) Review

I've heard bad things over the years about this game, but hey I'm a Simpsons fan, and I'm willing to try a few things out.

The game is basically just a slump of mini-games ranging from trivia to actual levels with "real" gameplay. I really liked the trivia section in it's blue glory.

Memory cards was alright.

However the actual levels control and play like ass. Bart Simpson merely jumps around like a retard shooting balls at people walking by. After randomly jumping off the ship, I managed to figure out the controls, and easily got passed the level in about a minute.

I liked the idea of the skateboard stage, however it's too long and hard for it's own good. I either got hit by the wall, jumped into a Chinese man, or fell to my death. I don't think the Great Wall of China has dragons, or pits of death. I bascially got stuck right here, without any motivation to progress any further. Maybe not the worst game in history, but there have been far better games based on my favorite TV show.

Score: 3 out of 10
