Final Thoughts on Lady Gaga's Born this Way Album

I'm always worried about my favorite singer's next album, cause usually after 2 or 3 albums they get kinda "meh". This is Gaga's 2nd full album, but I consider it the 3rd since The Fame Monster was more than an expansion. It may not be as good as the first two, but I really like it. I hope Gaga can stay on top the music scene for at least a few more years. Her album is out today, and you can actually get most of the singles for 69 cents a piece on Amazon. I really hope she made them price it like that. 

Listened to Lady Gaga's "Scheiße"

It was really good to see Lady Gaga actually sing some German. And the title of the song actually means  "shit" in German. The B looking letter is actually two S sounds FYI.

Even though I didn't get it when I heard it, as soon as I saw the words I knew what they meant.

"I am absolutely clear, I bear the name Monster"

There's also some lesbian innuendos in there, so bonus points. 

Listened to Lady Gaga's "Heavy Metal Lover"

Decent song, but it's kind of weird of her make a song about Heavy Metal. Their fans probably don't listen to Gaga.

Listened to Lady Gaga's "Americano"

Even though Alejandro had a little Spanish influence it was still a lot like her other songs. However Americano is almost like her doing a Spanish samba or something. One of the best songs in the Born This Way Album. 

Listened to Lady Gaga's "Yoü and I"

Good little love song, not exactly my favorite but I like it. 

Listened to Lady Gaga's "Highway Unicorn"

It's pretty good song, I think I love the title more than anything though. That's why I love Lady Gaga. 

Listened to Lady Gaga's "Government Hooker"

I love the music and lyrics. Though the lyrics don't make much sense. 

But damn this dude can cheat on his wife decades after his own death. 

Listened to Lady Gaga's "Electric Chapel"

Not such a fan of this song. I'm sure it will grow on me, and I will listen to it more than enough times, but I'd say it's defiantly one of the weakest songs in the Born this Way album.

Listened to Lady Gaga's "Bloody Mary"

I got mixed feelings on this one. I like the music a whole lot more than the lyrics. 

She could be my Bloody Mary though. 

Listened to Lady Gaga's "Hair"

I love this song. Like Born this Way, and Bad Kids it's more about being a person and loving yourself.

Listened to Lady Gaga's "Bad Kids"

I really like this song. It kinda tugs at the strings of the whole "love yourself" theme of the Born this Way song. It's got a good beat, and even though the lyrics are a little silly they're oddly appealing. 

Listened to Lady Gaga's "Marry the Night"

It's a decent track, but I believe they won't be playing this one much on the radio, and you might want to forget a music video. 

Listened to Lady Gaga's Edge of Glory

Born This Way, and Judas grew on me, but I liked Edge of Glory straight off the back. It's not the best Gaga has done, but it's decent enough, and I look forward to the rest of the Born This Way album.
