Things I Like: The Simpsons Game (Xbox 360)

Simpsons games can be rather hit or miss, but the most recent one was pretty damn good.

It definitively taps into the show's most memorable moments, but in a rather crazy way. Crazy, but a very good kind of crazy.

It also taps into other games too. From Japanese games to some of EA's own. My favorite are the Homer levels.

There all pretty good except Marge's mob stages. Marge sucks anyway so let's not act surprised.

One of my favorite moments was when Homer and Lisa went into crazy Japanese Anime/RPG land. Plus the whole game had great cut-scenes to watch.

Zynga Tried to Buy PopCap Games for $1 Billion

We were so close to seeing Plants Vs. Zombies being turned into a shitty game like Farmville. Thank god EA bought them out.

Things I Like: SSX Tricky

Never really played snowboarding games before this, but hey I can give more of them a shot.

I loved the sense of speed, and just the feeling of moving down the mountain.

The trick moves and other modes were also fun to tap into.

My Top Ten PlayStation 2 Games #6: Burnout 3: Takedown

I never played the first two, but after all the hype I eventually got the 3rd game.

I love the arcade-ish feel to the game. No stupid simulation stuff, just pure drive and wreck fun. Thumbs up to the guy who thought making a game based on wrecking was a good idea.

Granted the wrecking aspect does make a "race" feel a bit weird in the game. But hey that's not why I play Burnout.
