Watched The Parent Trap II

This was a rather odd idea for a Disney film. 

Hayley Mills played both twin girls in the original movie made in the 60's. 

And in the 80's she reprises both roles in the sequel. Good attention to detail there. 

Except this movie is about one of the daughters and her friend trying to get Sharon a husband. 

For a low budget made-for-TV movie it wasn't half bad. 

Watched The Parent Trap (1961 Film)

My girlfriend found an old copy at the library on DVD. 

It's about two sisters who find out they're twins and that their parents broke up soon after they were born. 

It goes on a bit long, but I enjoyed it.

Despite rumors and even movies such as the 1997 Disney Film claiming she somehow escaped from death and began an new life were false. She was murdered by Communist forces, along with most of the royal family during the rise of the Soviet Union. 

Brenda Song Is Pregnant By Miley Cyrus' Brother Trace

I don't pay much attention to Disney stars, but I do remember Brenda Song. I heard the news on the radio, and thought it was kinda random. Didn't know she really had any brothers, but apparently the couple has been going out for only a few months now. However I guess this is more graceful news than some Disney stars over the years. Getting knocked up by your boyfriend is not the worst thing that's ever happened to someone from the Disney network. 

Fact of the Day: Sucks To Be The Little Mermaid

The original Danish fairy tale wasn't as "happy" as the Disney movie. In the original she got legs in exchange for her tongue, and when she walks it feels like walking on blades. She doesn't end up with a prince, she ponders about killing him but refuses at the last minute, and then turns into sea-foam. 

People I Like: Demi Lovato

The media (and myself included) kinda went hard on her for falling out of the spotlight and going into rehab for "reasons unclear", but I still love her. 

I've heard of her before, but never payed much attention until I watched Sonny with a Chance with my girlfriend. 

Besides she's totally hot, I'd hit it.

Though I personally believe their milking the series now for all it's worth, the original broke some impressive ground. 

Who could really imagine a world with Final Fantasy meets Disney? And as an action-rpg of all things. 

The gummi ship was bullshit though.
