Things I Like: Spider-Man: The Animated Series (1994 Cartoon)

I used to watch this all the time as a kid. My favorite Spiderman related thing ever.

It featured just about everybody from the marvel universe.

Even the lamer bad guys.

Heck even the X-Men came by to say "hi".

I always liked Black Cat.

Venom was pretty awesome too.

Carnage was cool too, but not as much.

Things I Like: Spider-Man 3 (2007 Film)

The first two films were awesome, and this one was okay.

Emo Peter was pretty lame though

Harry was alright as the new Goblin.

Gwen Stacy was cute.

Sandman was probably the most like his comic counterpart, but they had too many bad guys in this movie.

Topher Grace was awful at both Eddie Brock and Venom.

Venom itself was okay, too skinny.

Things I Like: Spider-man (2002 Film)

It's hard to believe that it was almost ten years ago when they finally made a big motion picture about Spiderman.

I felt they did a good job explaining the back-story while giving Spiderman time to test out his new powers and fight an epic battle against the Green Goblin.

Speaking of the Green Goblin, I liked Norman Osborn more than his alter-ego. Though I admit, I guess it was better for them to make a metal suit for the movie than the cloth costume of the comics.

Kirsten Dunst played a decent Mary Jane, at least in this movie.

Loved Macho Man's cameo as Bonesaw.

Overall I think it's one of the best superhero movies ever made

My Day Yesterday: Grass Cutting and Iron Man

I wake up to hear my dog whining and barking. Apparently we are getting a tree cut down soon, if the guys we hired get time to come down here. Apparently they did a little lawn work this morning, and my dog went nuts. She loves people, and she can't stand not being able to see them.

Speaking of lawn care, I went to tackle on my backyard. Wasn't too bad, thankfully the lawn wasn't too grown. Only took maybe 15-25 mins to do it all.

Watched the Iron Man movie as well.

Started Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon as well. Only a little bit into it. I'll probably finish it tomorrow.

Now I'm off to work, and then I have to get up and go in this morning very early. It's going to be a fun day.

Watched Iron Man (2008 Film)

I've been missing chances to see the movie for years now. Now that I got a chance to watch it, it's pretty good. However I think they spent way too much time with Tony Stark's backstory and how he became Iron Man which slowed down the pace of the movie in my opinion.

Robert Downey Jr. does play a fantastic role as Tony Stark. More so the guy than the superhero. He's witty, and very frank with what he wants.

Despite what I said with the back-story, I do like all the action scenes. Seeing the newly built Iron Man prototype crush all enemy forces to escape to freedom was awesome.

The building scenes were a little hit or miss.

His assistant Pepper Potts is hawt. Especially in the scene where she wears the backless blue dress.

It may not be the great Marvel or superhero movie ever made, but I enjoyed watching it.

My Top Ten Playstation 2 Games #5: Marvel vs. Capcom 2

Loved the hell out of Marvel vs. Capcom 2. A decent fighter with such fan-match-ups made in heaven. Fuck Mortal Kombat vs DC, this is the shit right here.

I also loved the fact that I bought a used PS2 copy for $35 and sold it a few years down the road for almost $80.

Things I Hate; Marvel vs Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes

Don't get me wrong, it's not a bad game. However I played this after getting a taste of the 2nd game.

Granted the fighting gameplay is solid and about as good as the 2nd game.

However I couldn't stand the lackluster roster. The 2nd game has so many characters, and the first game has about as much as any early fighting game from the 90's. They added some other characters as mini-helpers but it wasn't the same.

Things I Like: Marvel vs Capcom 2

I really only bought this game for only one reason, and that was to have all sorts of character match-ups between my favorite Marvel vs Capcom characters. Ideas like this are oddly untouched. Guess most companies fight over money.

You defiantly got a lot of people to choose from here too. Some of these people I had no fucking clue who they were. I was sad to hear that the 3rd game doesn't have such a plentiful roster.

The game isn't the greatest, and you can button-mash a bit to victory, but it's solid and has a lot of replay value. I think I need to get me a copy of the XBLA version.
