Tennis (NES) Review

Sport games usually don't hold during the years, and the times have not been kind to Nintendo's Tennis. 

To be fair, it's a fairly decent title for an NES game. Was also a learning experience for better Nintendo games like Mario Tennis. 

However  besides a few extra modes of speed/difficulty, and the options for double matches, there's really nothing left to chew on. 

It's probably a really good game for it's time, but honestly today it can't hold a candle to even Wii Sports' Tennis Mini-game.

Things I Like: Wii Sports Resort

I liked the first game, but I think the 2nd game is quite a bit better. 

Jetski was boring though. 

Frisbee modes were pretty sweet though. 

Canoe was crap

Table Tennis was alright

I really didn't like basketball. Sucked at it in multiplayer.

I loved the sword fighting. 

Archery was also pretty sweet.

Was also more than happy to see bowling come back in full force.

Things I Like: Wii Sports

Wii Sports came with practically every Wii ever sold in stores. Though I would never buy it, I did quite enjoy my "free" game. 

Wii Tennis was decent, but I wished I could move around a bit more. 

Wii Baseball was pretty fun, but like Tennis I wanted more control. 

Golf was annoyingly picky. 

Wii Boxing was alright, but I could never play my brother due to lack of 2nd Nunchuck. 

Wii Bowling was pretty sweet though. 

Nintendo Unveils WiiU

Pretty good little device idea. You can play without a freaking TV, use it with the TV in some games (like throw Ninja stars off the screen onto the TV), or use video chat or other shit. 

Despite the Wii Sports plug, it seems to have the power of at least the 360 or PS3. 

I'd buy one.
