Watched Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World

I've been waiting awhile to watch this movie. I heard good things about it. 

I actually read the first comic book since my library had it, though for some reason they don't have any of the other volumes so I didn't get a chance to read the rest of them. 

The film is about Scott Pilgrim a loser who is attracted to a weird girl. 

Even though he already has a fake-high school girlfriend. 

Who then turns pretty crazy in revenge. 

Well anyway his new girlfriend has seven awful exes who challenge Scott to battle. 

The battles can range to pretty cool, to a little boring. 

The movie does feel a bit rushed, and I'm sure they had to change and cut a lot of content from the comic book series to fit in a normal sized movie. It's a decent film, though I recommend the comic if you had to choose one version. 

My Day Yesterday

Woke up really late again, on my day off. Sigh... another day wasted. 

I changed my contacts today. Feel asleep with my old pair on, and when I woke up in the middle of the night I took them off (it was past due time to change them) and just tossed them on my table. By the time I got up in the late morning I felt them hard as a rock. 

I did have enough time to watch Scott Pilgrim vs the World. Pretty decent movie. 

Picked up my girlfriend and we went to the library. 

Checked out the Iron Man movie. Haven't seen it before. 

We went to Wendy's for lunch. She prefers McDonald's but I hate that place. 

I couldn't avoid taking her to Wal-mart which I also loathe. Though we did go to other places like Bi-Lo and the Dollar Tree. 

Bought some new razors at Bi-Lo today. They had a big pack of old spice razors on closeout. I have an electric razor but it sometimes never gets close enough. 

Before the night was over we finished the whole series of Bamboo Blade. Pretty good anime, though very short. 

My Day Yesterday

Picked my girlfriend up from her house, she has the day off. We bought some groceries at Save-a-lot, and went the library. 

Found this while we were there. Haven't watched it yet. 

We did watch more Bamboo Blade, very good anime. 

I mailed my copy of Batman: Arkham Asylum back in to Blockbuster By Mail. I wonder what they will send to me next?

Then I went to work, sucky day.
