Star Wars: The Old Republic Might Not Make It Until 2012

Though originally targeted for a 2011 holiday release, the long awaited sequel to KOTOR games on Xbox might slip into Q1 of next year. No firm date will be given until next month, which worries some. Me on the other hand, I don't mind them taking extra time.

Things I Like: Spider-Man (2002 PS2/Xbox/Gamecube Video Game)

I really liked the movie, and the video game was pretty sweet as well.

The game played mainly like the one made in 2000 for N64, PS1, and Dreamcast. Except with the movie's story, and a few new additions.

I thought the non-canonical villain fights were pretty good. Even the indoor fights were pretty cool.

It really shows how well a game based on a movie can be if the developers are paid well enough to make something decent.

Things I Hate: Max Payne (Original PC/PS2/Xbox Game)

This was a pretty big deal back when it came out. I managed to find a cheap copy for my Xbox. Oddly enough I had bought the 2nd game, and the stupid Gamestop clerk put the wrong game in there. Since I didn't play the original and it was only like 2 bucks, I didn't see the point in complaining. I also bought the PC version at a yard sale years before my Xbox copy, and my computer only played the tutorial.

By the time I got my hands on it, age has not been kind graphically. Max Payne's ugly mug still haunts me to this day.

The game's biggest draw was the ability to slow down time to dodge bullets. It was pretty cool in a "whoa it's like the Matrix" kinda way, but it's gets old these days.

There was also some bizarre nightmare scene where you had to walk on this magical tightrope of light through a invisible maze of madness. I don't think I played too much after this part.

It might have been a good game back in the day, but I think it hasn't aged as well as a fine wine. It's really nothing more than an generic 3rd person shooter with bullet-time.

Original Max Payne Coming to Mobile Platforms

The notable shooter from the PS2 and Xbox will be coming soon to mobile platforms. None have been announced so far, but you can expect it to release on iPhone, iPod Touch, and Android for sure.

Things I Hate: Crimson Skies

Maybe hate isn't the word but I didn't like this one as much as other people did.

The single player had it's moments, but it easily left me bored.

The multi-player was touted as one of the best Xbox live offered, but I found it annoying, and very harsh to rookie players.

Things I Like: Dead or Alive: Xtreme Beach Volleyball

With such a sexual series, you knew this was bound to happen. Disregard the M because this about as racy as a Victoria's Secret catalog.

The volleyball in the game is okay, but it's no Beach Spikers.

Pool Hopping was decent.

But c'mon that's not why you played the game. It was for the girls in thong bikinis and shit. Such ronery days back then.

Things I Like: Capcom vs. SNK 2 EO

I actually got this when I was rather new to fighting games. I could never stand some of the previous fighting games on PS1, and I only liked Street Fighter 2, and Smash Bros.

The roster list had plenty of people to choose from. I liked Ryu, Chun-Li, Morrigan, Mai, Akuma the most.

The gameplay was pretty solid too. This was one of the rare games, where they would let you use the C-stick to activate special moves. Frankly said, this game was easy as shit.

Was also one of the rare GC games that had the "Only For GC" logo, but appeared on another system.

Things I Hate: Cel Damage

This game was marketed as Twisted Metal meets Warner Bros.

Which is a fair take I suppose. The graphics were stylish, but I just found the game-play nothing but shallow, and beyond boring. There's no wonder why this sinked to the bottom of the forgettable list of Xbox/GC/PS2 games.

Things I Hate: Doom 3

I've never really got into the Doom series, I got sucked in the hype a little back in the day, but the first game is a bit generic.

Though I admit the screens and video for 3 were epic during release.

However I played the Xbox version, which suffered in graphics a bit. Even with better graphics, it's still  a rather generic and average shooter. Multi-player is also awful.
