Fact of the Day: Her Daddy Was Pope

Pope Julius II had a daughter out of wedlock.

Her name was Felice della Rovere, and she was a quite powerful and wealthy woman in Italy.

Fact of the Day: Japanese Christian Prime Ministers

Despite being a country with very little members of the Christian faith, they've had a lot of Prime Ministers who believed in Jesus. A notable one includes Ichiro Hatoyama who was a baptist.

Rick Santorum Says Gay Community is On a Jihad Against Him

I didn't know it but one of my most hated Republicans was on the campaign trail in my city on Friday. Even though he didn't attract a big crowd, he was preaching heavily about how he hates gay people and wishes sodomy laws were still enforceable. In his own words he also said this.

"So the gay community said, 'He's comparing gay sex to incest and polygamy, how dare he do this,' and they have gone out on a, I would argue, jihad against Rick Santorum since then,"

I know he's also very Anti-Muslim too, but seriously a Jihad? Islam is harsher on homosexuality than Christianity is, well at least these days. I hate this racist homophobe who doesn't believe in democracy.

Michele Bachmann Thinks Earthquake & Hurricane Irene Were "An Act From God"

The psycho congresswoman is known for being very religious, and when she's not trying to destroy the lives of gay people, she preaches and makes conspiracy theories.

"Washington, D.C., you'd think by now they'd get the message. An earthquake, a hurricane. Are you listening? The American people have done everything they can, and now it's time for an act of God and we're getting it,"

Really is she serious? An act from God? By no means could it possibly be a coincidence. I guess by her logic, God hates Japan a whole bunch since he gave that big earthquake. God also has a lot of problems with Florida and the tropics since they get hit by hurricanes like clockwork.

Fact of the Day: Allah Means God

Despite tensions between the two religions, Islam and Christianity have a lot in common with each other. They even worship the same God. Allah is merely Arabic for God, and if you were a Arabic-speaking Christian you would say Allah not God.

17 Year-Old Student Murders His Christian-School Principal

Suzette York was found dead after a teenage student murder her right in their own school. The school was a Christian-based K-12 education called Memphis Junior Academy in Tennessee. It happened right as summer break ended, and now students are sent home for another week.

Fundamentalist Mormon Leader Gets Life in Prison

I'm not a religious fellow by any means, but I find the Book of Mormon as a downright lie by Joseph Smith Jr. for reason that benefited himself. I really can't believe so many people, even many notable public figures are Mormons.

Modern Mormons aren't so bad though. They really are nice people, and are a lot better in my opinion than a lot of mainstream Christians I know. However there are a few groups of Mormons who still practice the oldschool ways.

One them being Warren Jeffs who just got life behind bars. He took many young girls as "brides" and used their faith as a way to rape them. He even fathered a child with a girl as young as 15. Now he gets to be some guy's wife in prison.

Super Noah's Ark 3D Review

Was this a real game? Yes it actually was. Back in the day, a company called Wisdom Tree sold Christian-themed video games to kids. However they were greedy capitalists who would rather see more profit that actually give Nintendo a proper royalty.

So they invented a cartridge that worked by plugging into a Super Nintendo, and it could bypass the lock-out chip if a real SNES game was locked on the top of it. Think Game Genie or Sonic and Knuckles in a sense. Nintendo probably had full right to take action against them, but I doubt they wanted to be known as the company that sued Jesus....er Noah whatever.

At least the game self-admits their piracy. Also ignore the cute animals on the cover-art.

I say that because Super Noah's Ark is really just a FPS, and it's exactly like Wolfenstein 3D. Seriously the layout is 100% the same.

Except instead of killing Nazis, you shoot feed at animals. Who somehow kick you for no apparent reason. I thought the animals on Noah's Ark liked Noah? Why do they want him dead?

The game is almost as ugly as the SNES version of Wolfenstein 3D, and even more awful to play. The music is annoying, and the game-play is unforgiving. It also gave me serious motion sickness.

The game is seriously not very fun to say the very least. It may even cause you mental pain. Do not play unless you just can't help not knowing what the game is like.

Score: 1 out of 10

My Thoughts on Religion

I generally label myself as Agnostic, but how did I get here? Well....

When I was a kid, we never went to church until my dad died. I believed in God and Jesus, but never got a full dose of it. We went to a local Methodist church my whole time as a Christian, and they're really not that fundamental. You'll find members of any church really who are "that way", but it was a kind of moderate branch of the faith.

While at church, this is basically the viewpoint as least to what I payed attention to. Granted I fell asleep during the actual service, but Sunday school was basically "Love Jesus, Jesus was good, God is Good, Good Good Good" and I'm at least glad they didn't try to scare me with hell. I didn't really care too greatly, but I did like some of the Youth activities like sleep-overs at the church, camp, beach trip, etc. since they were more fun than about God.

I really don't like Christians who do believe the Bible is the "Word of God" with no mistakes or whatever. Most of those people know less about the Bible than I do. When you tell them that Moses wrote most of the early parts they're like "NO GOD DID!", and then you tell them about Paul with the last parts and they're like "NO GOD DID!". Maybe there is a flaw in the theory of evolution, because these asshats sure aren't evolving.

I also just hate the every living "heck" out of Christians who make big money off their followers, or the ones who spread propaganda through many venues. I actually got a Christian book thrown into my yard right before I went to work today.

I have a deeper respect for Jewish people than I do Christians. They're usually very moderate, funny, and good people. They don't try to force their beliefs down your throat unlike some other group I know of.

Islam is a mixed bag to me. I respect some of their ideas (the Koran for example says we're all equal regardless of race), but most members take a more hardcore stance on it, especially in the Middle East. But I have nothing against peaceful members, not the radicals we can't help to think of ever since 911 happened.

If there is one religion I respect above all others it would have to be Buddhism. Overall for most religions, their members are the least annoying, the least hardcore, and the most respectful of others. My girlfriend and her family are Buddhist, and nobody in her family has made it an issue.

I can't say I'm athiest, but I'm very close. Though I do respect true free-thinkers (like whoever wrote that picture), some of their members are just as bad as their Christian counterparts. One of my athiests friends told me not to mention that I'm agnostic to athiest groups because they can be rather harsh towards "people on the fence" even more so than a Christian.

But hey it doesn't matter what you are, as long as you're happy, and that you respect other people. For the most part anyway.

Oslo Bomber/Shooter Was a Right-Wing Fundamentalist Christian

Anders Behring Brevik was the sole man who killed all those people in Norway. He was economically libetarian, ultra-social conservative, and hated "Marxists", and Muslims. He killed mostly members of Norway's ruling Labour Party which promotes immigration, and social democracy. He was actually a prominent member of Norway's racist Progress Party for quite some time. He apparently saved up to have a escort before the shooting, because apparently that was the Christian thing to do.

Rick Santorum Spreads Message of Hate

Rick Santorum was in Spartanburg, SC recently championing traditional marriage. While giving the finger to single mothers, unwed parents, and gay couples. This dude better not be elected president.

Watched For The Bible Tells Me So

The movie is a documentary about how Christians use the Bible as a weapon of hate against homosexuals. It even goes in to clarify the meaning, translation, and cultural reasoning for what's written in the bible.

The "main family" shown in the film I guess you could say is that of Former House Majority Leader Dick Gephardt, and his lesbian daughter.

But it gives other people the spotlight including the now openly gay bishop Gene Robinson.

It truly is a great film of peace and understanding. It's on Netflix Instant currently.
